Trendy Greater London festival announces preliminary line-up

These New Puritans and Cluster are amongst the first bands to be confirmed for this year's Offset Festival, due to be held at Hainault Forest Country Park on the weekend of September 4-5.

The experimental indie act and Krautrock pioneers will be joined by no wave afficionados Liquid Liquid and Tim Burgess from the Charlatans, amongst others.

It has also been announced that the people behind popular East London electronic night Trailer Trash are to host a dance stage at this year's festival, whilst promoters Experimental Circle Club will again be showcasing a range of talent with their own tent.

Following on from two successful years, Offset Festival looks set to continue its reputation for providing patrons with a slightly more esoteric and cerebral alternative to the blockbuster festival fare.

Last year's festival was a belter – if you don't believe us, check out this glowing review.

The full line-up so far is as follows:

Liquid Liquid, Cluster, Telepathe, These New Puritans, Charles De Goal, Rolo Tomassi, Male Bonding, Kap Bambino, Bo Ningen, Invasion, Tim Burgess, Factory Floor, Electricity In Our Homes, Blue on Blue.
