Beard-fest

For years now All Tomorrow’s Parties festivals have been the event of choice for discerning, bearded music fans up and down the country. The list of ridiculously awesome upcoming ATP gigs is already as long as your arm, but we’re very happy to announce that London’s historic Alexandra Palace is to be home to a 2 day festival next summer. I’ll Be Your Mirror will take place on the 23rd and 24th of July 2011 and is to be curated by trip-hop legends Portishead.

The Bristolian trio, who will headline both nights of the festival, have lined up a ton of brilliant bands to support them over the weekend. Playing live so far are the likes of experimental noise-rockers Liars, hip-hop legend MF Doom and cult post-punk outfit Swan, plus many more acts still to be confirmed. In addition to this the organisers promise DJs, film and art to complete you’re festival experience, all within a stone’s throw of your front door.

Tickets, which cost £59 per day and £100 for the weekend, are available from the ATP website.
