Ahoy!

The people behind Shore Leave, London’s longest running and best loved sailor night, have announced their Christmas Party which will be held on the 4th of December at a very special, secret Dalston location. It’s been a great year for the nautical themed institution, which has put on a series of extremely popular one off shows at venues all over London, including the Bethnal Green Working Men's Club, The Shacklewell Arms and a railway arch under London Bridge station.

The group's seasonal effort looks like it’s going to be as good as ever, with live bands The Severed Limb and The Boulie Boys playing a mix of jazz, skiffle, and good old fashioned rock'n'roll to get you hopping. As well as live music, resident queen of tease Trixie Malicious will be putting the ‘naughty’ into nautical with her show stopping burlesque routine, whilst Johnny Demonique will help you look the part with his brilliant felt-tip pen tattoo parlour; and the wonderful Miss Gwatkin will be on hand to document all the debauchery in her postcard photobooth.

In true Shore Leave style there'll be free a free shot of rum for the first 50 through the door; and smokers hold on to your sailor hats, the venue allows you to light up inside! Tickets are £10 and selling fast, so make sure you pick one up from the website.
