Queens Roger Taylor attacks Murdoch (in song)

Rumour has it that Wendi Deng in on the way round to Taylor's house right now.

Wow, so after being almost hit in face yesterday by an idiot with a custard pie, Rupert Murdoch now has to suffer the indignity of a slanderous rock ballad from Queen’s Roger Taylor, who has re-released his 1994 "classic" 'Dear Mr Murdoch' making only ‘subtle updates’.

Speaking in the Guardian, Taylor originally penned the stinging attack after the media giant was linked with his beloved Manchester United. Containing lyrics like “Your minions like vultures and carrion crow/ They've sunk just as low as humans can sink” and calling the man “The king of the Tits” the song is about as devastating to News Corp's ambitions as a lurid piece of graffiti left on the bathroom wall at Sky News.

To be honest we don’t normally write about this sort of stuff, but with it smalzy video and hideous piano line, but this is just too kitsch to let it go. What’s next, a bombastic 9 minute Meat Loaf song criticising the bombing of Libya? Maybe everyone should just leave the righteous indignation to Crass, OK?
