The festival news keeps on a'coming.

After the announcements of a whole host of rad bands for 1234 Festival yesterday, the guys over at Field Day have obviously been feeling a little left out, so they’ve decided to announce a second wave of acts including LA art punks No Age, indie high-rollers These New Puritans and hot-stuff remix duo Simian Mobile Disco for their July festival.

Joining the likes of Phoenix, Mouse on Mars and Memory Tapes, the new announcements include the much fancied Chapel Club who made huge waves in A&R circles, maverick electronic missives from cut-up pop purveyor Hudson Mohawke and chamber-pop sing-alongs from the lauded Lightspeed Champion, whose recent album has garnered him even more acclaim.

Whilst we’re always happy to be seeing No Age again, for most people the confirmation of Mark E Smith’s cult rockers The Fall will have them running for their credit card. You’d kind of be a fool not to.

Field Day
takes over Victoria Park on the 31st of July. Early birds tickets are on sale now and cost £33 + Booking Fee.
