Sexbeat give us a little taster of this year's Radfest

If you ever met them ambling about on Mare Street, you’d probably think the guys behind Sexbeat are your typical Hackney bike creeps who have nothing better to do with their time than cruise around London Fields on their fixies looking for their next can of Löwenbräu, but you’d be wrong.

Beneath their love of vests, bowl cuts and Suicidal Tendencies, Sexbeat are in fact some of the hardest working promoters you’ll ever hope to meet in London. Responsible not only for a lot of those killer shows you read about happening in Brixton, Shoreditch and beyond, once a year they also host a massive one-day festival called Radfest where everybody gets to get trashed and party to a consistently amazing line-up of bad ass bands.

After incredible shows at Corsica Studios and the Bussey Buidling they’re moving back east this year for a massive 3-stage love-in at Hackney Downs Studios. Headlined by dark indie kids Veronica Falls, hotly-tipped hardcore punks Ceremony and the always excellent Trash Talk, the line up looks like wall-to-wall fun with Virals, Eagulls, SSS, Holograms and Jacuzzi Boys all making an appearance through the day. Throw in stalls from Kristina Records, Zineswap, Poster Roast and a food market, it’s probably going to be the best thing to happen to Hackney Downs since they put the train station in.

There are also mixtape cassettes up for grabs, featuring all of the artists on the bill. Have a sneaky preview of it below. Believe us, it’s rad to the power sick!
