The Manchester indie legends announce two dates for June 2013.

Missed the Stone Roses when they played Manchester last year? Did all your mates go, leaving you at home scratching your belly and watching Saturday Morning Kitchen? Well, guess what, next year the legendary Manchester band are playing 2 dates in Finsbury Park, meaning that rather than shelling £70 out for the Virgin train, all you have to do is jump on the Victoria Line. See, we told you all good things come to those who wait.
Due to play over the weekend of the 7th and 8th of June, these will be two of those Blur in Hyde Park jobbies – starting around 2 in the afternoon and finishing early enough for last orders. Support is still to be announced, but with Primal Scream and Jake Bugg due to play the Glasgow date, we’re betting some indie royalty will be on show.
Tickets go on sale 9:30am Friday, over on GigsandTours.com.
