IT'S ON!

It’s took a decade of ‘will they or won’t they’ speculation, but we can now confirm that the Stone Roses are officially back together, that they’re  playing 2 dates next June at Heaton Park in Manchester and, more excitingly, they’re releasing new material.

With all the original members back on board, this is a reunion on the scale of East Germany and West Germany and it at least removes the chance of them sucking as bad as they did in 1996. There’s no news on London dates as of yet, but with no Glasto next year, you can bet your bottom dollar that they’ll be visiting us at some point in 2012.

We’ll let you know when we hear more.
