Another live music venue bites the dust.

Flowerpot

News just in via the medium of the internet. Apparently the Flowerpot is to close. In a series of tweets this afternoon the Camden live music venue declared that from 1st November it will no longer be at its current venue.

“Completekly gutted” the Flowerpot announced that “We've basically been scammed and after building a successful venue from scratch the lease has been sold from beneath our feet.”

The tweeting continued: “We will of course be taking everything and everyone with us when we go and promise to find a new HQ quicker than you can say Jagerbomb.”

The popular Camden live music venue - who've played host to the likes of Billy Bragg, Josh Weller, Laura Marling, Madness and White Denim - insists its New Year's Eve party will still be going ahead.
