Beyoncé
O2 Arena, Greenwich
Tue, 30 April/Wed, 01 May/Fri, 03 May 2013
One third of the most popular girl group ever and one half of the world’s foremost power couple, Beyoncé Carter-Knowles will be embarking on an incredible world tour this year. As part of her trip around the globe, the queen of pop will be gracing the O2 Arena with not one but three live dates this spring. Ranging between £55 and £85, tickets are a little steep, but how often do you get to see musical royalty live and in the flesh?

The Postal Service
O2 Academy, Brixton
Saturday, 18 May 2013
The latest group to jump on the reunion bandwagon is everyone’s favourite indie-electronica-pop group, The Postal Service. To celebrate a whopping ten years since the release of their first and only album 'Give Up', Ben Gibbard and chums will take to the stage and thrash out hits such as 'Such Great Heights' and 'The District Sleeps AloneTonight'. Relive a misspent youth being moody and making mixtapes.

Vampire Weekend
Troxy
Wednesday, 08 May 2013
It's not long now til the release of New York soweto preps, Vampire Weekend’s highly anticipated third album. Until recently the band had been pretty tight lipped about the whole affair, and only publicized the albums title, 'Modern Vampires of the City', through an ad placed in the lost and found section of the New York Times. Very droll. Thankfully they've been a little more open about their tour schedule and will be playing Troxy on the 8th of May. Wear your best Oxford shirt/sweater vest combo.

To commemorate the release, they’ll be headlining Hammersmith’s Bush Hall on the 4th of April. If you were lucky enough to catch their performance at the Tate tanks last summer you’ll already know how much of a blinder this is sure to be. Definitely one for your diary.

DIIV
Heaven
Wednesday, 15 May 2013
Originally the side project of Beach Fossils guitarist Zachary Cole Smith, DIIV has evolved into a fully fleshed band in its own right. Fresh off of supporting The Vaccines on their UK tour last autumn and a US tour with Canadian duo Japandroids, DIIV return to our green and pleasant land this May for a headline slot at Heaven. Grab a ticket or two if you like your guitars wiry and your vocals woozy.
