August: London

by: Spoonfed Team

The whole Spoonfed team have compiled some helpful guides to the best things going on in London this August.

Carnival

Kicking off with Field Day and ending in style at the Notting Hill Carnival, August is a party month in the city. And outside it, as millions head for the festival circuit for a spot of waterlogged camping.

Perhaps it's the energy required for drinking in the sun, perhaps its the fact that everyone's on holiday, and the Edinburgh Festival is also a contributing factor: London is a bit quiet for events in summer. But it doesn't matter to us we've still got tons of stuff to recommend each week. Apart from lying in the park, which we highly recommend every day. Assuming the sun comes out. Oh, sun.
