Best of August: Clubbing

Club Azuli
9th August
The Azuli label comes to Pacha, with Raw Club helping out. This one's a bit less like there are 'angels' everywhere dancing to Bodyrox and more like, 'I want to get my bump and grind on to real house music. Ladies, who's with me?'
Best for: Confused looking glitterati wondering when they'll play some Morillo

South West Four
23rd August
One of London's biggest and best outdoor dance events, SW4 has steamrolled into its 4th year with a line up of global greats and a colossal, pimped site to contain the madness. This will definitely sell out so get them while their hot.
Best For: Getting on it at midday and raving till the sun goes down

Hi-Tek-Soul
23rd August
Hi-Tek-Soul is run by a guy called Jim Masters who uses the Ministry of Sound's money to fly over statesman-like techno DJs from Detroit. You will always make clear that you know how important these guys are, but you've probably never seen them play. So many bonus points from 'real' electronic music fans are waiting.
Best for: Getting a musical education

Lasermagnetic and Latenightaudio Warehouse Party
24th August
This is a team effort from two long-time pushers of disco sub-genres that are now more popular than you can imagine, plus related curiosity-based music . Parisian re-edit Pilooski headlines. Re-edits are all about dancing for two minutes before suddenly recognising the track and being like, 'Ha ha, you got me. I didn't realise this is a song that my mum likes because it's in a musical'.
Best for: People who queued for the last Disco Bloodbath but gave up

Fabriclive (Fingerlickin and Plumps launch party)
29th August
The Plump's on 4 decks launching Headthrash and Fingerlickin' in charge in Room Two? On the mighty Fabric system? Errr….Yes please. More breaks than you can shake a stick at.
Best For: Rib-chattering bass and plump DJs
