Robin Ince’s School for Gifted Children
6 Nov
The December 'Godless' show by The School (and special guest Richard Dawkins) has now completely sold out at The Bloomsbury.  Now, deep breath... we'll get over it... just.  Luckily the Museum of London is kindly holding one in November with a very similar line up, minus Dawkins sadly, but hey – it's for free so who are we to argue?
Best For: Education with cachinnation

Stewart Lee's Big Bangers
7 Nov
This year for the annual BAC fundraiser Stewart Lee is hosting a Bonfire Night show with some outstanding  comics on the bill including Josie Long, Richard Herring and Pappy's Fun Club.  It's not often a charity gig looks this amusing.
Best For: Free sausages

Steve Coogan as Alan Partridge and Other Less Successful Characters
10 Nov
After a 10 year absence on stage, Steve Coogan's Alan Partridge and other 'less successful' creations like Pauline Calf, Saxondale and Tony Ferrino are off the box and onto the stage as the tour     comes to  the Hammersmith Apollo.
Best For: Rekindling that university craze of quoting Partridge incessantly until someone gets slapped

Bill Bailey
From 10 Nov
Last chance saloon to see Bill Bailey's Tinselworm show playing at the Gielgud for just over a month from mid November. With  music, eclectic subject matter and animation on big screens, this is a treat for the eyes and ears.  Tickets selling fast.
Best For: Amusing covers and theme tunes

Eddie Izzard: Stripped
From 17 Nov
Queen of Comedy Eddie Izzard now brings his show Stripped (so called as he's stripped off the drag) to the Lyric Shaftesbury.  It focuses loosely on religion, creation and civilisation but you can expect the usual surreal meanderings in the structure.
Best For: Ruminations on dinosaurs and the divine
