The feverishly-anticipated Saatchi Gallery finally opens its doors this month with an exhibition of the best in contemporary Chinese art. Interest in China is huge right now: this promises to be era-defining.

Frieze Art Fair
16th-19th October
Of all the art fairs popping up across London this month, Frieze is still the biggest. It may have become a bit bloated, but there's still some great stuff for the casual visitor, including a talk by Yoko Ono.
