Chills at the Chapel Halloween Film Club with Jameson Whiskey

Chills at the Chapel Halloween Film Club with Jameson Whiskey

19 October, 2009
by: Spoonfed Team

In celebration of the helping hand that film has had in shaping the way we celebrate Halloween, Jameson, the Whiskey folk are putting on four nights of horror flicks at Union Chapel, Islington. And this ain't no half baked attempt at creeping out folk in London – it's the old skool stuff. Classic horror films, plus listed building plus an interactive, downright disturbing vibe that transports you into the very world of celluloid, plus free cocktails by the way, equals your Halloween 2009. Did we mention that the whole evening is free?

Apply for tickets at the Jameson Cult Film Club website and arrive at Union Chapel at 6.30 to begin your Jameson Halloween film experience. Halloween isn't just about children soliciting sweets by threatening minor pranks, no! It's about Jack the Ripper tours, aimless wandering in graveyards, and scaring yourself silly. Anyone who gives Halloween more than a cursory glance will appreciate the contribution of film to this frightening festival. This Halloween, pay homage to the horror film makers who changed the world, well, changed Halloween anyhow.
