Experience Cinema spread the Christmas cheer this year...

If you went to any of the Rooftop Film Club events this summer, you'll know that its creators Experience Cinema know how to craft an exceptional film going experience. Fun as it was, the film club's summer season has long since ended, and it's probably a little too chilly outside to humour the idea of alfresco cinema.

Never fear, festive film fans. The good folk at Experience Cinema have not one, but two ace looking events lined up for you this season.

First up is The Christmas Film Club which takes place from the 3rd tilll the 20th December. The fortnight long experience will feature cult classic holiday films such as 'Gremlins', 'A Nightmare Before Christmas' and our personal favourite 'Scrooged', as well as family classics 'Home Alone 1 and 2', and 'A Muppet Christmas Carol'.

Not only are there a great selection of screenings, but it all takes place in the warm and cosy confines of Netil House, near London Fields. Upon arrival every ticket holder will be greeted with warm cider or mulled wine and invited to snuggle up and get cosy on their sofas and bean bags, before being treated to a selection of snacks including candy canes, chocolate logs and mince pies.

The second round of Yuletide cinema takes place at the amazing Round Chapel, Hackney, on Saturday 15th December. Where better to host a special one of screening of Frank Capra classic 'It's A Wonderful Life' and a matinee screening of the hilarious modern classic 'Elf?

If the this summer's Rooftop Film Club is anything to go by, tickets will be dashing off pretty quick.Head to the Experience Cinema website and grab yours.

UPDATE: Experience Cinema are sorry to announce that due to circumstances beyond their control, they have had to postpone the dates and change the venue for their Christmas Film Club. The Christmas Film Cub will now be screening from 11th to 23rd December at  Hackney Downs Studios. Showings of 'Elf' and 'It's a Wonderful Life' at the Round Chapel are unaffected by these changes.
