Editors to Play one-off Gig at Fabric

Post-punk band Editors have announced they will play a one-off gig at London's Fabric next week. The chart-topping group, who have been heralded as the second biggest British band this decade (behind the Arctic Monkeys) plan to preview tracks from their new forthcoming album 'In This Light and On This Evening' set to be released on October 12th.

The four lads from Birmingham have previously released two platinum studio albums which have sold over 2 million copies worldwide, and have been headlining festivals all summer. Lead singer Tom Smith has discussed the new album saying it is a lot darker and rawer than the previous two, utilising traditional synthesisers rather than guitars to create a live sound far more synthetic and anthemic than their previous work.

During the recording of the album, the band apparently used the Terminator theme song as a constant reference.
