Works were commissioned from creators as varied as Mulberry, Rankin, Barbara Hulanicki, Jasper Conran and Paul Smith. Mixed media were used under the unifying themes of Britishness and fashion. Five of the designs will appear as limited edition covers for the October issue of Elle, of which there will be eleven in total, including one featuring London mayor Boris Johnson.
