Fancy Dress Halloween Party hits Newburgh Quarter, Carnaby Street
27 October, 2009
by: Spoonfed Team
Still not sure what party to attend this Halloween? Well here's another one to throw into the mix, and it looks like being the ideal free warm-up to your night of fancy-dress tomfoolery. London's increasingly exciting Newburgh Quarter is hosting a wicked little early evening party with a fantastic fancy-dress theme.
The area – a kind of snazzy younger nephew to nearby Carnaby – is organising a party between 6 and 9pm on October 31st and the theme is Famous New Yorkers. So, dress up as Carrie Bradshaw, the Stokes, Lou Reed, Woody Allen or – um – a big apple...and take part in all manner of fun activities. There's US goodies galore, prizes, apple-bobbing and authentic NYC booze at the Wish You Were Here store, courtesy of Brooklyn Brewery.
The Grok Institute are curating the music line-up, which includes Romanian/NY expat Rasputin and dark disco from Sensation.
