The Spoonfed Team select the top five club nights taking place in London throughout February 2011.

S.O.M.E Night Relaunch
2nd Feb
Spoonfed's favourite midweek party moves to one of our favourite East London venues - East Village. Despite the consistently amazing line-ups and atmosphere of S.O.M.E Night last year, the Den never felt like it's natural habitat. In East Village it looks to have found a perfect place to cement itself as the only place to be on a Wednesday in the capital. This also falls on our Clubbing Editor's birthday so expect to see him and various Spooners propping up the bar.
Dubscover and Techscover
4th Feb
The ever-excellent Dubscover and Techscover return for a joint banger of a night at Rhythm Factory. We can't say enough good things about these guys. For those unfamiliar with the concept, this is essentially a very friendly and supportive series of DJ battles that eventually crowns the Dubscover and Techscover overall winners after a year of events. It's free entry all night and sets out to be a real community hub for up and coming artists in the dubstep and bass scene on the one hand (Dubscover) and the tech-house and techno scene on the other (Techscover).
East Village 3rd Birthday
12th Feb
How time flies. It's already 3 years since East Village sprang from the ashes of Medicine Bar and in that time it has quickly established itself as one of London's best clubs. Through a diverse booking policy, and by working with some of the best promoters in the capital, there isn't a week that goes by when East Village doesn't have something essential on. This birthday line-up is a great representation of that.
Surefire Sound
18th Feb
Surefire has moved to the bass mecca, London, after two years of success as a productions company, PR consultancy, booking agency and record label in San Fransisco. Ice to Eskimos I hear you cry, possibly but then the California bass scene is one of the most progressive out there so hopefully these guys will give us the chance to hear some of that talent more often. With line-ups like this one they clearly know what they're doing.
Xtravagance
26th Feb
Harry Shotta had a cracking 2010 and launches his new live showcase at this high powered rave he's throwing. An absolutely rammed line-up that that includes the truly remarkable Engine Earz. It was a toss up between this and Renegade Hardware's 16th Birthday party for the final pick of February. But whichever of these raves you choose to attend. Vauxhall is definitely the place to be tonight for those who like it big and bassy.
