Rock superstars Foo Fighters have announced via their facebook page that they will be broadcasting a set live from Studio 606 in California for free for their face-friends. For your chance to see it, all you have to do is RSVP to the event page and you too can enjoy the carnage.
The gig will be broadcast at 0200 GMT on Saturday morning, and fans will be logging on from around the world to participate in the event. At the last count, over 10,000 fans had said they would be making the vigil to watch the band perform hits like 'Everlong', 'Learning to Fly' and 'All My Life'.
This is sure to whet the appetite of aficionados before the band release their Greatest Hits collection on November 3rd, which also includes new single 'Wheels'. The news comes just days after U2 broadcast a gig live from the Rose Bowl in Pasadena to great success. If the trend continues, soon you’ll never have to leave your house at all to see your favourite bands, much to the delight of agoraphobes everywhere.
