Henry Rollins set to play The Royal Festival Hall

Hardcore punk legend Henry Rollins has announced that he will be bringing his spoken word tour to the Royal Festival Hall on the 15th of January for more tales of funny house breaks, relentless touring and why the general public should be attacked by wild animals at any given opportunity.

Here's him waxing lyrical on rave music;



We're pretty excited, as Rollins is one of our long-standing idols, and we love him to the extent that our live music editor once had a dream about him being at his 3rd Birthday Party. Interestingly our other idol is Morrissey, and they both famously hate each other. Probably explains why we’re all can-do miserablists…

Anyway, tickets are on sale over at the Southbank website now…
