Iconic rap superstar Jay-Z has announced he will play another London gig at Alexandra Palace on 4th November, with 9,000 standing-only tickets set to go on sale this Friday, October 9th, at 9am (BST).
The east-coast rapper played a surprise gig at the Roundhouse in September which sold out in 20 seconds, playing to a relatively small crowd of 3,500 - a far-cry from his usual stadium stature. Having also previously played at O2 and Wembley, the November date will complete his tour of London’s major venues.
The show's promoters suggest that they were also expecting surprise guests, saying mysteriously that ‘If you missed out on a ticket for the Roundhouse you better be quick in getting one of these when they go on sale on Friday.’ Hmmmm.
The 39-year-old rapper, who has just finished supporting Coldplay on their UK tour, is promoting his new album ‘The Blueprint 3’ which was released last month to mixed critical reception.
