Johnny Depp is reportedly negotiating a one-off performance with British indie band Babybird next month in the small London venue Hoxton Square Bar & Kitchen. This follows collaboration between the star of upcoming film Alice in Wonderland and the band on their new album titled 'Ex-Maniac'.

Depp plans to join the band on stage for this one-off gig on November 12th to promote the album, which he was instrumental in getting produced after introducing Babybird frontman Stephen Jones to friends of his in the music industry.

The pair met on the set of Michael Mann film Public Enemies and became friends when Depp revealed an admiration of the British band.

Depp is known for being an amazing guitarist so he will feel confident of putting in a performance as accomplished as any of his film roles. In the past, he has featured on tracks such as Oasis’ Fade-In Out, as well as composing pieces for the soundtracks of films Chocolat and Once Upon A Time In Mexico.
