The Spoonfed Team select the top five club nights taking place in London throughout July 2011.

Friday 1st July
Raise
A Hyperdub special tonight from Raise - and every penny (plus a bit of the bar) goes to Save The Children's Western Africa programme. Silkie and Swindle go head to head in a grime, dubstep, funky throwdown which will showcase their latest material borne out of their recent collaboration. Hyperdub's Terror Danjah brings the relentlessly fast-paced bass, Dream Mclean launches a verbal assault and Scratcha DVA mixes the mashups to put you in a spin.
Saturday 2nd July
Wireless Festival
It may not be the edgiest of London's festivals but it's certainly one of the largest, Wireless has become something of a tradition in Hyde Park over the last 5 years and has played host to some cracking bands in the past. Previous O2 Wireless headliners include Jay-Z, Fat Boy Slim, Depeche Mode, the Strokes, the White Stripes, Morrissey (who was, in truth, something of a let-down) and Daft Punk, who were unbelievable.
Saturday is traditionally the dance day, and Wireless has really out done itself this year. Not only can it boast sets from post-indie dreamweavers Battles, Northern electro warriors The Whip, the incredible Aphex Twin and Chase and Status, the day will end with a massive, jaw-dropping set from The Chemical Brothers.
Friday 8th July
Soltek 1st Birthday
One year on, and with a string of bumper parties that have featured heavyweights such as Commix, Nu:Tone and Cluekid, Soltek kick off the summer with their 1st Birthday bash and a new residency at The CAMP. Bringing the jelly and ice cream will be Bristolian dubstep don Phaeleh, drum n bass extraodinaire Joe Syntax and plenty more, all getting the floor hyped until 4am.
Friday 15th July
Lovebox
London's biggest and most flamboyant festival, Lovebox has been rolling its circus of delights into East London's beautiful Victoria Park for eight years now. Organised in association with the mighty Groove Armada, the festival always secures absolutely stellar headliners (Manu Chao, Grace Jones, Jamiroquai, Sly and The Family Stone, Roxy Music) as well as attracting some of the capital's most cutting edge dance music promoters to host areas.
Today kicks it off and is massive: The Wombats, Beardyman, Flying Lotus all play live - plus French Electro wonders Ed Banger are in charge of an arena, and dubstep heavies FWD>> and Rinse have their own place to play too. What a start.
Tuesday 26th July
Magnetic Man
This dubstep super group is made up of three of the pioneers of the scene - Skream, Benga and Artwork. Initially a live project, the collaboration has spawned several pieces of production including the massive 'I Need Air'. Live the trio perform using three apple laptops, one controlling the basslines, one the drum samples and loops and the third the lead sounds and samples. The Roundhouse is a perfect setting for this kind of thing.
