Wednesday 15th- Wednesday 22nd July
Ealing Comedy Festival
@ Walpole Park

The annual Ealing Comedy Festival takes place every July and always has a stellar line-up of comics on the bill. Run over five nights and with more than 25 acts to choose from, you can see headliners including Terry Alderton, Omid Djalili, Sean Lock, Stephen K Amos, Milton Jones and more, performing under a big top tent in the park. A perfect way to spend a summer's evening.
 

Saturday 16th July
 Maxwell's Full Mooners @ Udderbelly

Andrew Maxwell's late-night cabaret show has attracted a hardcore gathering of fans since it began in 2005 and was the first place to welcome Simon Pegg on stage after nearly a decade off the circuit. Go go girls, breakdancers and big name comdians make up the bill which has in the past seen Matt Lucas, Noel Fielding, Russell Brand and Doug Stanhope perform dynamite sets. For one night only at Southbank's Udderbelly venue, Chief Full Mooner Maxwell promises to deliver a night of devilish entertainment and an assortment of special guests.


Tuesday 5th-Thursday 21st July
BBQ Previews
@ Invisible Dot

The Invisible Dot production company is once again putting on their patented Edinburgh previews throughout July with so many good double bills we found it hard to pick one that stands out. Choose from the likes of Josie Long, David O'Doherty, Toby, Dr Brown, Nick Helm and Tim Key all perfroming brand new material with a free BBQ in the interval. Hurrah!
 

Monday 18th-Saturday 30th July
Sam Simmons: Fail @ Soho Theatre

Australian absurdist act Sam Simmons, debuts his hit Edinburgh show in London. After his girlfriend left him and he was down to his last $14, Simmons began to feel suicidal. In this wonderfully surreal and experimental show,the multi-award winning comic explores several reasons to be cheerful with songs about wool, gameshow questions, hilarious physical clowning and bizarre musings. A must see for those who like their comedy twisted and original.


Friday 29th July

Tim and Eric: Awesome Tour, Great Job
@ Electric Ballroom

The stars of Adult Swim's Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job! come to the UK for their first ever show. The duo are famed for their surreal and satirical sketch comedy, parodying films, music, adverts and popular culture in general. Expect weirdness and depravity...
