Former FHM 100 Sexiest Women winner Kelly Brook is to appear naked in Calendar Girls, the comedy musical about members of a Women's Institute stripping off to raise money for a cancer hospice. She will take on the role of Miss September, formerly occupied by Jerry Hall. Coronation Street stalwart Julie Goodyear will also join the cast.
Kelly has had a rich and varied career as a page 3 girl, catwalk model, reality tv star and actress. Most recently, she starred in Neil LaBute's Fat Pig in the West End, where it was generally agreed that she was surprisingly good, although not at Patsy Kensit levels yet.
Calendar Girls is a pretty lighthearted romp anyway, great fun for the players, very witty and a real success in raising awareness and funds for charity. The only problem is copycat calendars like Milo's 'Naked Tech Entrepreneurs' - ewww.
The new girls join the cast at the Noel Coward Theatre from November 3rd.
