KISS to play Wembley

KISS to play Wembley

Better start practising that Peter Criss make-up, as the masters of stadium rock KISS have just announced that they'll be playing Wembley Arena on the 12th of May.

Part of a much larger Sonic Boom Over Europe tour, the aging rockers will also be setting off fireworks at shows in Dublin, Glasgow, Manchester and Birmingham. Bassist Gene Simmonds adds 'Now. more than ever. KISS is a four wheel drive monster truck. Our mission? To rock planet earth. to spread the gospel of Sonic Boom'. Whatever that means.

Anyway, to say were dead excited about this is a bit of an understatement. Not only are KISS the coolest Jewish people to ever sing songs about their penises, they have enough pyrotechnics in their stage shows to rival the Battle of Iwo Jima. Which does beg the question, how do they practice all this? Do they set up in a field in Kansas and let Paul Stanley shoot his guitar-cum-rocket launcher at barns and stuff? Who knows…
