Lily Allen to Support Dizzee Rascal Next March

Lily Allen has been put on the bill to perform with Dizzee Rascal next year. Perhaps not ground breaking news, but it does come as a bit of a surprise after we reported that she was quitting only days ago after her filesharing debacle. Oh no wait, scrap that, it doesn't come as a surprise at all.

We're not too sure if she quite understands the concept of 'quitting' music, this being the second time she has reportedly renounced her pop success yet continued to pump out her oh so lyrically insightful musical drivel without so much as a 'I'm like, back or whatever'. It brings to mind the boy that cried wolf; pretty soon no-one will bat an eye lid as she defiantly tells a crowd that this is it, or writes some moral tosh on her blog to justify her step back from the limelight.

Maybe if we all ignore her she will go away? Unfortunately, I'm not sure this is the last we have seen of the hypocritical, potty mouthed, pop tart just yet, as she will no doubt be topping the chart for many years to come.

Speaking of Lily's opinions, the hottest forward on the internet today is Dan Bull's moderately amusing put-down of her filesharing opinions, perhaps the first musical entry in the ongoing debate...

Lily Allen will be supporting Dizzee Rascal on tour on March 5th in Manchester and March 7th in London.
