It represents the perfect annual excuse to dress for hell, to flaunt your blood lust, knock on neighbours' doors demanding treats and go monstrously beserk on a dancefloor peopled with zombies and gouls. Unleash your inner demons, brandish a broomstick, bite the necks of hotties, carve every pumpkin...

There are a whole load of events smeared rottonly across our capital - there are glamourous masked balls, fancy-dressed freak-outs, there are huge zombie-filled raves, there's big bass bin business. This is one of our favourite times of the year, so don your stripey tights, paint your face green, cut holes in that sheet, or take things a little bit more seriously with some realistic facial scaring.
