The Lovebox Weekender, one of London's summer festival highlights held in Hackney's spacious Victoria Park, will no longer be merely a weekender but a three-day event. The 2010 edition will now kick off on Friday 16th July and span through the weekend, finalising on Sunday night.

Grime artist-turned-pop star Dizzee Rascal has been confirmed as a headliner, along with energetic drum and bass duo Chase and Status. Other acts are yet to be announced, but an impressive as well as eclectic line-up can be expected. The popular festival, which launched seven years ago, is predicted to draw crowds of 50,000.

Tickets are now on sale at the Lovebox official homepage.
