Noel Fielding has cancelled a lucrative solo tour next year because he will be too busy! It's alright for some, eh? He now plans to spend early 2010 filming and writing The Mighty Boosh movie and album. Apologising to his Twitter followers last week, the multi award-winning comedian tweeted: "Just a quick message to say my tour has been cancelled so that Julian and I can concentrate on writing the film and the album.x"

He sent out another message to fans with tickets saying: "I really wish I had time to do everything but there have been a lot of complications and things shifting around out of my control...sorry, it seems there has been a major cock up somewhere I thought people had been informed ages ago. so sorry I feel terrible."

Birmingham Town Hall, Manchester Apollo and the Liverpool Empire are just some of the venues that have had to give ticketholders a full refund.
