New Michael Jackson Single to be Released

A new, previously unheard Michael Jackson single, titled 'This Is It', is set to be released on October 12th to accompany the documentary film of the same title. We should’ve known that a little thing like dying couldn't stand in the way of old Jacko!

But don’t worry, he hasn't pulled a miraculous back-from-the-grave stunt; this is just the first instalment of Jackson’s posthumous collection, of which there will no doubt be hoards more stashed away for a rainy day in musical tycoon town.

Far be it from those musical fat cats to exploit the death of a pop idol, they have managed to stretch the single over a two disc album. My they are a clever bunch, rearranging the order of songs you already own to create a brand spanking new, never before heard, totally original album. The compilation also contains some backing from the Jackson 5, and a spoken word poem from Jacko, called 'Planet Earth'. Sounds precious, doesn't it?
