Fela

From 6th November
Fela @ National Theatre, Olivier
Fela is a look at the life and works of Afrobeat legend Fela Anikulapo-Kuti. The play has been produced in association with Jay Z, Will and Jada Pinkett Smith. It combines dance, theatre and music, just the thing to get you through November in London.


From 11th November
Joseph K @ Gate Theatre
A man wakes up without a memory. Only he's been a arrested and has to clear his name. Information is tough to come by, he has no clue who he's fighting or why, the only thing he does know is it's his freakin' birthday!


From 11th November
The Glass Menagerie @ The Young Vic
An autobiographical Broadway hit story from Tennessee Williams will be at The Young Vic until January. Tom, a soon to be poet, is stifled by is overbearing mother and delicate sister until one day he decides he can't take it any more.


From 12th November
The Master Builder @ Almeida Theatre
Starring Gemma Arterton and Stephen Dillane, Kenith McLeish's translation of Ibsen's classic follows a man at the pinnacle of his career. His family life isn't looking so hot and he's not as happy as he thought he would be. That is until the beautiful Hilde walks into his life. Of course, she will ultimately be his downfall.


Form 27th November
Black Watch @ The Barbican
Finely wrought drama, dotted with humour, Black Watch follows a Scottish regiment and their part in the War on Terror. It's been praised since its première in Edinburgh a couple of years ago and this November marks its return to The Barbican.
