This month our top picks include a landmark drum n bass night and a dirty rave in a basement. Maybe October won't be so miserable after all.

Hype

29th October
Fabriclive - Tru Playaz 10 years of Fabric Special
True Playaz is one of the most celebrated dnb labels of all time, and a host of dnb stars are being brought into these hallowed ex-meat stores tonight to help celebrateits tenth birthday. The main man DJ Hype is of course heading the proceedings and Andy C, the executioner, has been asked in specially to help rip the place apart.
Best for: Drum 'n' bass, simple as that.

15th October
Groove Armada
The dynamic duo of Andy Cato and Tom Findlay, Grove Armada are two of the most successful house music producers of all time. The money they make from 'Shakin' That Ass' alone must eclipse the lifetime earnings of most charting acts. Arguably Britains greatest dance trend-setters, these guys simply grabbed onto the biggest sound in dance and made it their own - funky, party house. Fun isn't the word.
Best for: Shakin' that ass

22nd October
Trouble Vision 2nd Birthday
Trouble Vision throw their 2nd Birthday party at Corsica Studios. MJ Cole and Zed Bias are headlining and will be playing a very special back to back set taking you through the history of garage. There are few people more qualified to lead this lesson in 2 step.
As if that wasn't enough already support comes from the likes of Scuba and SBTRKT amongst many others...did we mention that Zinc is going to be there too!
This will be killer.
Best for: History lessons

23rd October
Don't Techno Sh!t
A rave in the basement of an old video shop, minimal techno and vintage VHS visuals. Need I say anymore? Well I will anyway.
Don't Techno Sh!t is back to host one of their trademark no nonsense basement raves at Visions Video bar. They have a special line up for this come back night who'll be spinning out delectable to downright dirty minimal techno. Line up aside, it's a real crazy party vibe where you can let loose, throw some shapes and talk shit to like minded strangers.
Best for: a good old dirty rave

29th October
Regulate - Halloween Launch Party
Regulate are throwing a night full of big, greasy dubstep basslines, with a line up that reads like a who's who of dubstep and grime. D Double E is pretty much the hottest property in grime at the moment so the Newham Generals headlining back to back with Jakes is going to be big.
Best for: Agrressive bass assault on your face.
