The Spoonfed Arts Team pick out the biggest exhibitions opening in London this October.

From 13th October
Move – Choreographing You @ Hayward
Throw some shapes, hula hoop and take part in installations and sculptures by a troupe of internationally renowned visual artists and choreographers this autumn at Hayward gallery. Move - Choreographing You looks at how dance has influenced art since the 1960s. Dancers from Laban Contemporary Dance along with other movers will prance through the gallery space, beautifully designed by Amanda Levete Architects.
Best for: 'You! Me! Dancing!'
13th-17th October
The Future Can Wait @ Shoreditch Town Hall
Zavier Ellis and Simon Rumley's consistently excellent The Future Can Wait art fair returns for its fourth year this October with work by 31 contemporary artists, including some of our current favourites, like Tessa Farmer, Emma Bennett, Gavin Nolan and John Stark. This is guaranteed to be really brilliant - painting in particular should be very strong.
Best for: 'In the Future When All's Well'
14th-17th October
Frieze Art Fair
It's that time of year again art people, when the Frieze Art Fair plonks its big self down in Regent's Park for four days of contemporary art buying, selling and cogitation. Started in 2003, Frieze Art Fair is one of the major art events in the international contemporary art calendar; it's primarily aimed at buyers, but for £15 is an enjoyable day out for any vaguely cultural person.
Best for: 'Tenth Avenue Freeze-Out'
14th-16th October
SUNDAY Art Fair
For the first time, SUNDAY Art Fair comes to London this year, well timed to coincide with Frieze - handily located too, in the colossal underground hangar that is P3. The fair has an international and cosmopolitan flavour - there's galleries from London, Zurich, Berlin, Amsterdam, Tokyo, New York and plenty of others. Expect a focus on the cutting edge and conceptual, and works by the likes of Edwina Ashton, Wolfgang Breuer, Kit Craig, Ryan Gander, Jack Strange and Richard Wilson.
Best for: 'Every Day is Like Sunday'
25th-31st October
Close Encounters @ Royal Albert Hall
A week-long festival of all things space-related at the Royal Albert Hall this October. With art events, an exhibition, film screenings, tours, family fun events, and planetarium things, this is a big old blend of art, science, education and assorted other cool stuff. Much of it is free, although a lot of the events and screenings and things are individually priced - but with nothing more than £14 it's all pretty good value, we reckon. Take your protein pills and put your helmet on...
Best for: 'Space Oddity'
October: London Clubbing
October: London Live Music
October: London Comedy
October: London Theatre
