September's here! So while our commutes get harder with all the buses jammed up with school kids, at least we can party out to some decent bands...

White Denim
1st  September

Like a modern version of the Minutemen or something, White Denim make garage rock that is so batshit crazy it seems like someone found it a capsule on Mars.

The Rapture
8th September

Yeah we didn't like their new albulm that much either, but if you ever need a band to soundtrack a night of dancing and generally acting like 5 years old on amixture of blue smarties and coffee, then The Rapture has you covered.

Best For: Taikonauts

Beriut
16th September

A band that seems to be able to balance over many seemingly impossible contradictions, Beirut make gentle, lilting folk music that sounds both ancient and incredibly modern at the same time.

Best For: Cosmonauts

Death Grips
25th September

The brainchild of founding member and chief producer Flatlander, Death Grips is a  five-headed enigma made up head MC Ride, side-vocalist/lyricist Mexican Girl, Info Warrior and beat-junkie Zach Hill of Hella fame.

Black Lips
Monday 26th September

Atlanta's favourite party dudes return to London to show off some tracks from their latest album 'Arabia Mountain' in their usual, beer-swilling way.
