Update: Michael Jackson London Tour after Singer's Death at 50

Michael Jackson has passed away in his LA home at the age of 50, just two weeks before he was due to begin his come-back tour with a slew of dates at the O2 Arena. The fifty scheduled London gigs sold out in just hours due to intense fan demand and in the wake of the singer’s death, ticket holders are now waiting for more information about the tour and ticket refunds.
Already a number of ticket retailers such as eBay, Seatwave and Viagogo have said they will refund buyer’s money for the tickets while concert organiser AEG Live told fans that they would release more information regarding ticket refunds this week.
All ticket holders are encouraged to keep any ticket vouchers, purchase slips or receipts.
According to the Guardian, AEG has confirmed that refunds will be available for all legitimately bought tickets but has also stated that instead of a refund, fans may choose to have instead a collectable ticket "inspired and designed by Michael Jackson for the fans" and made with a "special lenticular process." While this sounds suspiciously like panicky, money saving actions that pretty much tally up with the £300 million insurance liability AEG now faces, there is always the possibility that these collectable tickets will someday be worth more than the refund.
Images of the commemorative tickets will be made available on 1 July on www.michaeljacksonlive.com.
More information will be added here as it is made available.
