They don't do things by halves down at the X Factor studio, as both Robbie Williams and Whitney Houston are set to appear on stage this series. That's not one, but two major comeback performances. Here's hoping they'll have a warm up at G-A-Y a similar London venue, or maybe even a full scale tour to follow.
You would be forgiven for thinking that the X Factor are only hot on new talent (or lack thereof), but they have a long track record of roping in old pop favourites to 'mentor' the hopefuls and perform live: Tom Jones, Rod Stewart, Barry Manilow...
Robbie Williams will make his first performance in three years, and Whitney her first in 12, after finally overcoming her battle with drug addiction. Both artists are releasing new singles; Robbie's 'Bodies' single (which got a bit of a ripping from the Spoonfed team) will be released on 12th October, and Whitney's warbling 'I Look To You' on the 19th October.
The show is sure to go down well with X Factor fans, and
will air on 19th October. Keep your eyes on Spoonfed for the latest on the secret
pre/aftershow gigs.
