On the other side of drinks, dinner and a one night stand, lies a terrifying love story making its way to London's West End.

The hit '80s movie Fatal Attraction starring Michael Douglas as Anne Archer's husband and Glenn Close as his spurned psychotic one night stand is to be remade into a West End show scheduled to open in 2011.
The film, embellished with stunning taglines including “A look that led to an evening. A mistake he'll regret...FOR THE REST OF HIS LIFE”, follows the stalkerish behaviour of Close's character Alex Forrest as she unleashes a can of whoop-ass on Douglas, wreaking havoc on his idyllic suburban existence.
Creator of the stage version, James Dearden, the writer of the original screenplay has confirmed the infamous bunny boiling scene in which Douglas finds the family pet simmering on the stove will be included in the theatre show. He told The Sunday Times “Without it, the audience might demand their money back”.
One of the most successful movies of the 1980s, Fatal Attraction grossed $350 million at the box office and received strong criticism from feminists for its sanctification of the stay-at-home mother figure and the vilification of the single career woman.
