Gemma Arterton takes to the stage for another London theatre appearance this winter at Almeida Theatre in Henrik Ibssen's The Master Builder.

Gemma Arterton, a Bond girl of the Daniel Craig era, who made a less than brilliant debut performance in London's West End in The Little Dog Laughed at Garrick Theatre is to star in Almeida Theatre's production of Henrik Ibssen's The Master Builder.
Arterton joins Stephen Dillane in Kenith McLeish's translation of the Ibssen classic tragedy. Dillane will play Halvard Solness, the master builder with a stellar career and a family life in tatters. Arterton takes on the role of the beguilingly Hilde Wangel who enters Solness' life to collect a debt and re-inflates his professional pride but will ultimately be his downfall.
She recently married the Italian sales manager Stefano Catelli in a secret wedding in Andalucia after a year long engagement, and can currently be seen in the blockbuster Prince of Persia alongside Jake Gyllenhaal.
The Master Builder will open with previews from November 12th and run until January 8th.
