Lily Allen To Score Bridget Jones Musical

Popstar makes the most of retirment by writing the music for an upcoming musical production based on the Bridge Jones books.

The ever “retiring” Lily Allen who is soon to play The Big Chill, will also be writing the score for Bridget Jones The Musical, so the rumour goes. Though no director for the production has been announced, the people at Working Title, who are held responsible for the films are producing, and the flies on the walls at Helen Fielding's house have reported she is working on a script.

The as yet untitled musical based on Bridget Jones (Frumpily Blonde?), will supposedly feature 12 songs by Allen who's already written one whole one about choosing which foods to eat. The yacht-frequenting brunette with an eye for the older man may not have a lot in common with the down on her luck Bridget but who knows what she could add to the already farcical notion of Frumpily Blonde, er Bridget Jones The Musical or whatever?
