Nick Jonas to star in Les Miserables for three weeks from 21st June.

Nick Jonas, one third of the American boy band The Jonas Brothers is to star in Les Miserables in London's West End for three weeks from June 21st.
How do you boost ticket sales for an oft forgotten West End show being pelted by a hail storm of new productions? You import an over-groomed teen heart throb from the states, cue hoards of young pretty things with poster-plastered walls Googling French they never intend to use.
Apparently Nick Jonas can act too. Yes indeed. When he was an itty-bitty ten year old, a whole seven years ago, Nick played Gavaroche and takes his place in Queen's Theatre as the revolutionary Marius.
Nick is terribly excited about the whole affair and said something irritatingly cute like “Can't wait to see the fans who make it out to the show! Love you all. Special thanks to Cameron for this amazing opportunity. I Dreamed a Dream and they seem to be coming true.”
Though it seems producer Cameron Mackintosh could be patching up the monetary effects of closing his latest American import Hair early, Nick's role in Les Miserables has been in the pipework since last year and comes in time for the show's 25th anniversary.
