Adrian Noble's production of David Seilder's play will run at Wyndhams Theatre until 21st July.

Holy monarching jollies! The King's Speech by David Seidler will set up camp at Wyndhams Theatre in London's West End from March 22nd following its UK tour.
Seidler wrote the screenplay for the film after a reading of his play at Pleasance Theatre brought it to the attention of director Tom Hooper. The film, starring Colin Firth, Helena Bonham-Carter and Geoffrey Rush won a clutch of Oscars including best picture, best director, best original screenplay and best actor for Colin Firth.
The critics have also praised the acting in Adrian Noble's theatre production which stars: Charles Edwards as King George VI, Jonathan Hyde as Lionel Logue, Emma Fielding as Queen Elizabeth, Ian McNeice as Winston Churchill, Michael Feast as Cosmo Lang, and Joss Ackland as King George V. The major differences between the film and the play are the disappearance of the children, princesses Elizabeth and Margaret and the development of the character of Myrttle Logue, wife of Lionel Logue the King's controversial speech therapist. Despite noting these as unnecessary, Charles Spencer (of the Telegraph) like almost everyone else in the country lauded its “celebration of the unfashionable virtues of duty and moral decency.”
The show is currently booking until 21st July 2012
