Brace yourselves for a vom-cano - the YouTube hit has been transformed into a new dance track.
Some truly ridiculous news this morning from the Comedy desk - the hit 'Gap Yah' YouTube video from sketch group the Unexpected Items has been turned into a dance remix.
That's right, you heard us. A dance remix. The new 'Gap Yah' music video, featuring the Items' Matt Lacey as posh public school pillock Orlando, will hit screens this week, while the single is now available to buy on iTunes.
The track is the creation of dance producers Adrian Zagoritis and Mind One, who between them have actually had some fairly high-profile tracks remixed by the likes of Judge Jules and Pete Tong. Not sure if this is really going to be up there with their greatest triumphs though.
The video, produced by locally-based collective Hand Krafted Films, features some fairly ludicrous caricatures of various scenarios mentioned by Orlando in the original clip, from the woman with mal-ah-ria in Tanzania to trekking in Peru (or Per-uh). And of course, there's plenty of chundering everywhere.
We can't really decide whether to be amused or slightly sickened by this shameless cash-in on something that was actually clever and original. But either way, it's a fairly enjoyable distraction on an otherwise quiet Tuesday.
