The ubiquitous bad boy comedian gets a tap from a rather large truck.

Awkward test-drive moment for Russell Brand yesterday - the comedian was involved in a car crash in New York after a truck hit the back of the £150,000 Lamborghini he'd just taken out on loan.
Brand, in the US to film a remake of the Dudley Moore film Arthur, was riding in the passenger's seat of the car at the time and was briefly pinned inside the vehicle after the crash.
One of the Daily Mirror's infamous 'sources' told the paper, "Russell was very shaken. He refused to go to A&E despite severe bruising and cuts." However, according to a posting on the comedian's Twitter account last night, his injuries were minor. "That Lamborghini crash was hardly Jimmy Dean territory", Brand tweeted. "I barely spilled my espresso."
Meanwhile the car wasn't quite as lucky, with £6,000 worth of damage. But let's face it, at this point in Brand's career that's probably less than what he'd have down the back of his couch.
