The cow is back! Comedy legends, veterans, award winners and rising stars line up to perform in the iconic Udderbelly tent this summer.

Much-loved Edinburgh Fringe venue the Udderbelly returns to the capital this summer, nestling itself in by the Southbank Centre from May 13th to July 18th with a huge programme of comedy, circus, music, capoeira, magic, theatre and children's shows.
Among the high-profile comedians set to grace the big purple cow's stage this year are stand-up legend Alexei Sayle, controversial Irish comedian Tommy Tiernan and Radio 4 broadcaster Sandi Toksvig. There'll also be international guests like Michael Winslow of Police Academy fame and Deuce Bigalow star Rob Schneider.
Further headline acts include Father Ted's Ardal O'Hanlon, comedy veteran Arthur Smith, Perrier award-winner Milton Jones, dark and twisted Andrew Lawrence and if.comedy award winner 2008 David O'Doherty. There'll also be plenty of up and coming comics to check out, like 2009 Eddie nominees Tom Wrigglesworth, Pete Johansson, Carl Donnelly and Jack Whitehall.
Besides the large and varied comedy bill, acts at the Udderbelly range from Brazilian theatre to circus performers to beatboxing. With nearly all tickets under £20 and the outdoor pasture area to lounge around in with a pint or two between acts, it promises to be a great summer of laughs down by the South Bank once again.
