Foster's release some pictures from the newly-recommissioned series of The Fast Show.

First we had the return of inept radio DJ Alan Partridge on North Norfolk Radio's Mid Morning Matters, then Vic n Bob brought their entertaining comic weirdness back through Afternoon Delights. Now Foster's have resurrected another well-loved British comedy – The Fast Show, coming soon to a (computer) screen near you.
We've just received some stills from the new series and as you can see, all the old favourites are back for more fast-paced silliness including sozzled, rambling old barrister, Rowley Birkin; Ken and Kenneth, the obsequious 'Suits You' tailors; and bequiffed car salesman Swiss Toni ("built like an Alp and ridged like a Toblerone"). Personally we can't wait to see how Lord Ralph and his faithful groundsman Ted are getting on. There will also be some never-seen-before characters to breathe new life into the series.

Fast Show creators Paul Whitehouse and Charlie Higson said: "We are delighted to bring back The Fast Show not only for our old fans but also, we hope, for a whole generation of new ones. We'll be bringing back all our most popular characters from the show and we’ve managed to get the majority of the team back together, including Caroline Aherne. It’s also great to be sharing the Foster’s site with some of our comedy favourites like Vic n Bob and that other bloke who was in that thing with Rob Brydon."
The Aussie lager brand are now the leading sponsor of British comedy, sponsoring the Foster’s Edinburgh Comedy Awards, the 2011 British Comedy Awards and over 100 hours of original comedy programming on Channel 4.
In total, 12 new episodes of The Fast Show will be released over the coming months on fosters.co.uk, with the first episode going live on 10th November.
