Sexbeat at SXSW

Sexy times!

In association with Beacons Festival and Five Eight Zero, and with a little help from our friends at Poster Roast and Newtown Radio, Sexbeat managed to drag their punk asses to Austin, Tx (land of burritos and margaritas) to put on a super special party!

Turning out to be a raucous BYOB punk rawk show at The 21st St Co-op, the final line up was Mazes and Still Corners from the UK, and Reading Rainbow, Indian Jewelry, Moon Duo and Japanther from the USA.  Here's what it looked like:

Our friend's band from London, Still Corners, who have just signed to Subpop, playing at our show.

They jumped on the bill to help us out when one of Pulled Apart By Horses had to go to hospital after headbanging too hard.

Reading Rainbow were awesome.  They were the first US band to grace our stage.

Sanae from Moon Duo rocking out on the keys.

Ripley from Moon Duo shredding with a really strong beard...

One of Japanther playing a show while some random distributes pizza to a bunch of college kids on spring break.

More japanther...

Total spring break!

Sexbeat will be back in London this month, with an afternoon of dream pop at the Lock Tavern. Should be awesome.
