Film taste: Star Wars, withnail and I, Old Joy, all the stuff with superheroes. Probably Big Lebowski rules the roost
Music taste: All of it, except the crap you listen to. That stuff is CRAP.
Hangout: in my room, with my records
Most likes (about London): authors, angry music for angry times, peaceful music for peaceful times
Least likes: aesthetic confusion, combinatorial explosions and twats.
Me in 10 words: Well maybe he's just a rich kid or a charlatan

venue The Buffalo Bar
Friday, 31 July
Cupboard under a train station. You can find great bitter punk gigs here - as you might expect from a venue with less floor space than a shoe - but more surprisingly you can also sashay through 60s pop DJ nights, and attend weekly Latin dance classes. Why its called the Buffalo Bar? My guess is the bullish huge ambitions of its owners. Always reliable for something fun, though drinks are pretty steep.
venue Bardens Boudoir
Tuesday, 14 October
A filthy jewel indeed it is - expect to see loud, bonkers bands under this low ceiling. Expect to have a crappy view of the weirdly-placed stage, which is only remedied by jumping around into people, objects, walls, bands, and amps. Expect to pay too much for a pint, the most of which you will spill but won't care, cos of the Rrrrock.
venue The Luminaire
Tuesday, 14 October
In this bipolar city of mammoth arenas and cramped, rotting sweatshopesques, Lumi stands apart; with its cosy/crazy atmosphere, stoic deference to performers, bold lineups and sheer atmosphere, it makes for a sure bet for great live music. Oh, and the new King's Head pub next door is outstanding. Without doubt the most praiseworthy and adventurous gig-o-rama in London - get in there and see something incredible tonight.
